As an Indian vegetarian, I found this place a perfect one. The onion bhajjis and veg snacks platter were amazing (not to forget the superb mint sauce).

The black dal I ordered was also good but kadai paneer could've been better. Basmati rice and plain naan were tasty.
Overall, I was delighted to find an authentic Indian cuisine being cooked by them.

I would highly recommend this place to Indian vegetarians.
Is it a ringing endorsement of a pub when its best features are its drinks and hot chips ? I thought their Haloumi burger came deconstructed due to the the ingredients falling out everywhere when picked up. Soggy mayo soaked salad mix just added to the mess. Chunky chewy haloumi just could not be eaten in the same mouthful with gooey itsy-bitsy salad bits. Dish served did not match description in the menu or I would have passed. Hot chips that accompanied the meal was the best part of the meal - piping hot, crunchy on outside, tender inside with the right amount of salting. Seems like they have a high turnover of chips so quality is good. Lesson learned. Pubs are not good for vegetarians or vegan - unless you want to feast on hot chips and nuts
local presse is a favorite! eating is inventive and tasty! many vegan options and tasty plant-based drinks and whispers. the personal is always super friendly and the location at the front of the Kingston forum is incredible. even the inside of the caffe looks beautiful. great vibes! the vegan cream and vegan tacos are epic!
I've been meaning to try this restaurants for months, but finally did last week, albeit only for lunch. I got there just after 1.30, so it's past peak time. There were about three tables filled when I got there. The greet was friendly and I was given what was clearly the best table available. Kudos there. The ambience was serene and the seat was comfortable. I intentionally wanted to try the advertised $15 lunch menu so I did (Fish & Chips - no steaks for the deal). But I also wanted to try a starter (truffle & parmesan aroncini). The fish batter was really crispy, which I like. The chips were also crispy, which I crave for. The tartare sauce and the coleslaw were creamy and delicious. Very good indeed! The aroncini itself was served right off the fryer and the abundant parmesan used and garnished really helped bring the taste out. The aioli was a perfect combination. Overall, a bit more salt would make it perfect for my taste buds. I'd come back and try the dinner experience.
