Fresh, yummy food. My steak, chicken and seafood was cooked and seasoned to perfection.Chef was accommodating with with our requests. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Surfers.
I came here with my partner. We waited for 20 minutes before we got served which wasn't a great experience since we had to asked to get served (the waiters were supposed to come to our table). We both ordered a main, beverages and some olive and rosemary bread for an entree. I ordered an iced chai (normally made with almond milk) for no almond milk and instead skim milk - that was accepted. I was then brought an iced chai - with almond milk. My partner had the lemon iced tea - hard to taste the lemon when it was awfully sweet. Our bread arrived 30 minutes later - so much for an entree. Then another 15 minutes and our main meals arrived. I ordered the a chicken pasta dish, my partner ordered a chilli pasta dish. My dish was extremely boring and tasteless - could of made much better at home. My partners dish was extremely mild and had to ask for more chilli. It was an awful experience and I wouldn't recommend it - there's much nicer Italian restaurants.
Last week on Wednesday we had a great value rump steak lunch for $10 seriously you can't cook for that price. A 200gram rump chips salad and sauce. It's just down the street from the best shoe shop call Shoetique we found Cathy the owner was very friendly and certainly knew how to fit my foot with delightful shoes. Visit Southport.
Six of us visited The Avenue for a night out drinking and dancing and had a ball. Soon after we arrived the place filled up and the music was on the money for our age group (mid 30's to mid 40's). We arrived before 10pm so there was no queue but by midnight a queue had formed to scan ID's. We all had a great time dancing and drinking and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
great discovery! chili rühreier runny as asked with fresh ingredients and special attention to detail and presentation. I love the coffee and very generous milkshake size. brot is of high quality and salmon brekkie was only divine with fresh avo and again plentiful quantity of fish with excellent presentation. can wait to go back and try the powerbowls. I ate here about four years ago and was looking forward to going back. Without exaggeration, it would have to be the worst meal I have ever had. And I would query the use of "restaurant" as a category? It was a nightclub that offered a choice of four main meals and the rest are bar snacks. There is no waitress service - you order and pay, and receive a number to place on the table. The entree arrived at the same time as the main meals. The "flame grilled chicken breast" was reheated, dried-out chicken with gravox, not jus. The 'chicken, bacon and avocado salad' had five-day-old reheated chicken that resembled lumps of rock. The blue cheese dressing was chunks of blue cheese that overpowered the salad. It was inedible.
Well, firstly, I recommend you drop in for lunch a little before midday --- You get yourself a really great view and there's not too many humans about. Secondly, the people serving are really quite nice and (pleasingly) they enjoyed a bit of humour and were light hearted. Thirdly, I love a robust Chowder and my wife enjoys a flavoursome Curry and I can say that we so very delighted with our dishesI highly recommend the Chowder - Really delicious...
