From the exterior, this place looks like your average Indian take-away, nothing flash or fancy, but dont let that put you off. The food here is great! The staff are very friendly and accomodating. It seems to be very popular with an ongoing flow of people coming in and out, picking up and ordering take-away meals. Close to Central Train Station.I had the goat Korma, it was perfectly cooked. The chicken titiki was tender and succulent. It gets pretty busy late at night apparently, they close at 1am everyday.
Upstairs of the winery, a classy little spot with bar tables and booths. Really classy fit out and great for birthday drinks or a hens party. I ordered the turkish cocktail, lovely flavours and fairy floss sitting on top. I thought the service was pretty non existent and they never checked up on us until I realised there was a 'button to call for champagne'. Not immediately obvious. Drinks were good, just a little on the pricy side.

aroundtheclockfoodie.com
Orto Trading Co is a short walk from Central Station. It is easy to miss because it is quite small, but the food and ambience here is up to par. Tried the eggs benedict here and I loved their hollandaise sauce so much! Their salmon toast was up to par but there was too much rocket on the dish. Would recommend their fried chicken eggs benedict - it will not disappoint!
went there on a sunday morning for brunch. nice fitout of shop in the quiet street in surry hills. the service was great, prompt and the breakfast was amazing. order the ricotta pancake and it come with a generous dallop of ice cream on top. coffee was nice and i will recommend the their tea. will definitely recommend to go there for a hearty breakfast !

We'd been looking forward to Lebanese food on our recent trip to Syd. We were bitterly disappointed with our meals and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The place looked, felt and smelt like it hadn't been vacuumed in years. The banquet had enough food for...More
We have been here twice, once in downstairs bar and another time upstairs terrace. The old stained carpet, the pokies, the miserable looking bar area where VB, XXXX Gold, Tooheys New were served didn't draw much resembrance to rest of Surry Hills. We only came in to change scenery but left in a haste after one drink. It was a dive bar and no reason to go back ever again.

thernbdiary.com
