Went here with a friend for afternoon tea on a very cold bleak day. Inside was lovely and warm. Pity the same couldn't be said about the staff!!! Very cold and unwelcoming. The hot water for tea was only warm. The lemon tart was delicious but expensive for just that....a slice of tart and a small dollop of cream. Pleasant enough but wouldn't hurry back.

Popped in for lunch on a cold winters day. Nice and warm inside with pleasant and helpful staff. The Fish was nice. The boatshed burger was a hut with the kids. Not sure about the thai chicken curry with yoghurt being authentic thai but was nice and fresh none the less. Would come back.

Reasonable priced food, all seemed very enjoyable, great views across the lake, Cold day in Ballarat but reasonably warm inside, No atmosphere was the only thing missing

Dropped in for a meal with family and was not disappointed. Had a steak from the menu and with garlic butter and vegetables this meal was very memorable. Nicely cooked and very well presented the steak was very nice. The staff were very helpful and there was not much of a delay waiting for our meals despite this being a busy period. Most was 9/10. Very Good.

Lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant on Lake Wendouree was both relaxing and delicious. Our wait staff were attentive and prompt, bringing water and glasses to the table without us asking. We both ordered the wrap special of the day, Cajun Spice Chicken. It was absolutely wonderful. Light and spicy and creamy all at the same time. The chips were perfect, with a spicy, salty coating. Crispy on the outside and creamy in the centre. Not often that we finish all the chips in a meal, but these were not going back to the kitchen. The salad was just a salad - nothing special - but was enjoyable with the spicy wrap.Ended the meal with Long Black while watching the ducks and swans swimming around us in the lake. It was wonderful to be eating indoors, but be out over the lake to see the wind whipping up the little waves. A very pleasant meal and quite reasonably priced.

We booked the boat Shed for Good Friday lunch with Mum we started with wine and oysters I'm not a fan of the BBQ sauce kilpatrick but was ok. I had the seafood platter and the girls had salt and pepper calamari it was all amazing. All great servings and well priced. Service could have been better but overall a great lunch Thanks

Came here for a late breakfast/brunch. We ordered Eggs Benedict for myself, and the raisin toast with hashbrown on the side for my boyfriend. While the staff were friendly enough, there didnt seem to be any organisation in the way they worked. It took a bit for them to come and take our order, and then they missed the hashbrown for my boyfriend. Great views kind of made up for it.

This place had a prime location on the lake, the food was nice but if you sit on the outside deck you have to order at the counter
