They always provide very nice quality meal in very reasonable price. Most of food are very hot but very tasty- soup dishes. But also non hot menu are nice too. Korean pancake are huge and yummy.

This is the first time I had been here. Will definitely be back. Good prices for size of plate and delicious to boot!

As a local I know that secret quite a while. eating on the walkway in tropical summer is not high in my agenda.Today I walked pass, temperature seems ok so I orderd Squid, Rice Don with extra hot Chilli.Extremly friendly service with a large tasty plate and free water floats my boat any day!Large portion rice with a fried egg on top with generous squid, capsicum, onions in a tasty sauce. This all for $ 12.50. I would loved a bit more chilli but thats just me.I will be back for sure! As there is just next to it the choice of Japanese, Thai and Chinese right next to it.

This place is a local gem. The seafood pajeon is great, and the noodle dishes are tasty as well. Great value for money and friendly staff as well.

Uncle Tony's is a little Korean cafe on Lake St, Cairns. They do the best Seafood Pajeon (pancake), big enough for 2 people and very cheap. My wife and I visit once every couple of weeks and I have a Korean friend who eats there around 5 times a week.

We usually eat the seafood pajeon as we know it will be delicious, with its crispy edges and medley of vegetables and prawns all encased in the pancake batter. One is big enough for two people. On this occasion we decided to try something completely different and got the beef and vegetable potato noodle dish and a kimchi hotpot. Both dishes were definitely órder again dishes but the standout ingredient was the potato noodle and the fungi that made this delicate, delicious dish amazing. Th e tofu in the hotpot was silken and smooth.

We get take away from here quite often, maybe once every week or two. Korean mum hand makes everything giving it an authentic Korean taste. Well worth it.

As this cafe is close to my husbands work, we have eaten here quite a few times. The first time was underwhelming, as it was straight from the packed bento box and plainish fried rice. We then saw the sizzling hot stews and delicious looking noodles and other meals. The second time we made the mistake of ordering the Seafood Pajeon to eat with another dish ordered from the Japanese next door. The serving of Pajeon is BIG. A whole plate size and about 3cm deep. The first time we took half home! The dipping sauce is very very tasty and we usually get an extra serving of kim chi alongside. It is probably the favourite dish that we have eaten. We have tried the hot fried Udon and it was good, as was the tofu stew that we ate on our last visit. We get the seafood pancake about every other visit as we do want to try more than just the pancake (even though it is good!)Overall the price and size of the meals are better than some other Korean places. We usually go after 1 or 1.30pm as it can be a struggle to get a seat! I think they need more tables for sure, especially for us pancake lovers.
