Great food, nice ambience. On the day we happened to go they were understaffed so had to wait a little, but the young chap who served us was super polite & efficient. Would go again.

We had the most perfect breakfast at Archie's on North Beach. Great, quick service (there was no one there though), good coffee was reported by my other half and we both agreed the eggs benny was one of the best we've had. I ordered an English breakfast tea and was a bit disappointed to only be given a teabag, not a freshly brewed loose leaf tea. Will definitely be back.

This would have to be the worst dining experience I have had. The manager working Saturday 6 August rudely mimicked my discussion with her to another table of her friends. I could not believe that a person employed as a manager would behave in the disputable way that she did. Owner beware. You have trusted your restaurant to the wrong person.

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The tapas were just the right size for sharing. The chef is fantastic. Really nice atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area!

This is a great little restaurant. Food is always super nice and never dissapoints. I have put quite a few friends onto this restaurant and they alll love it. Great place for lunch or dinner. Pretty sure they do breakfast too, but I havent tried it.

Changed ownership recently. Great coffee and fresh cake. Great place for a snack. Sea view from the window seat.

I have previously rated this a five star restaurant but it appears it has recently had a change of ownership. Walked in for breakfast to see tables vacant and uncleared. OK it could be busy but half the place was empty. On checking the menu it appears they have gone for a McDonalds style menu. Gone are the A La Carte items and it appears buns and rolls prevail. It gives the impression of being a glorified coffee shop which does not employ a chef as previously. We declined to enter. Previously the owner would be out the door to gret us but this had a definite non-welcoming atmosphere.

My wife and I were taken to My Pantry for a surprise dinner for my wife by two of her children and partners. We were a party of 6.The food was excellent. The shared entree plate had a wonderful selection of cheeses, meats with olives and sliced gherkins alongside crispy toasted bread. The mains ordered were the prawns and pasta being well regarded along with the lamb shank ragout. The steak was asked for was medium rare but was delivered more rare medium though good quality meat. The salmon was superb. The wine list was limited but adequate rather than being exciting but at a reasonable price. The Waitress was excellent and friendly and attended to our needs well. The head waitress took some liberties in her conversations with both our table and other tables which I am sure were meant to be light hearted but came across a little jarring. One needs to be sensitive to how people receive "jocular comments" not how they may have been intended. The restaurant is under new management and I suspect they have some teething problems with systems and processes as things didn't flow well. Coffees took ages to be delivered and the consensus was they need a new supplier of coffee as it was bitter in not a good way.We were one of the last parties to leave but the sight of staff carrying garbage through the restaurant in front of guests was not a good look.Overall good food, wine and ambience and will try again once the new owners get their systems and processes working. Is well located to the beach and would be ideal for a lazy luncheon.
