it seems a series of places to eat in the temple complex. this review is for the main kitchen (not the dew drop inn tea house.) the atmosphere is very institutional. the prices from 2019-10-13 are $13 for rice or $14 for fried noodles plus 4 choices directed by vegetarian Chinese. mostly fake (soy) meat like bbq something or huh." I had better fake meats (if that's what they want) in newtown. just a few nice choices. an oily curry was an option. the kumquat tee was interesting, but was $4 and high in sugar. it's okay if they're hungry, but not the great value and generous help I had expected from a non-profit facility, a long way from high mie areas
When using a Groupon you do expect to get slightly less than advertised but this Restaurant takes this to a new level. $282 value meal for 4 at $89, sounds like an offer worth trying but i realistically believe that we barely got what we paid for. If this restaurant is prepared to make an offer it has no intention of honouring then i have no intention of returning until there is a change of ownership which will probably be very soon.
My wife took me here for our wedding anniversary and was surprised by the quality of the food and wine and also the service from the staff. We allowed the waitress to decided the best tapas and matching wines and all were well above average. If you want a nice night out or maybe a couple of quite drinks than try Adlingtons, you wont be disappointed.
Came here on a Saturday morning, the service was not over whelming as the lady was training a young guy so didn't acknowledge me. Placed my order 2 hot chocolates and 2 passionfruit vanilla slices, here comes the shocker $20.00. Hot choc $5 slice $5.00.The trainee told us there were no slices, cause he couldn't see them, we had to point them out in the window. We got a seat in the sun which was nice (take a jacket cause if your in the shade it is a little cool) The slice was nice but it was served in a polystyrene foam container which is not good for the environment and can not be recycled. Now I'm happy to pay a higher price but I'm not sure I would rush back, with coffee shops popping up every where I'd rather go to one with better customer service.
